The Marketing Plan

Aggressive marketing is the key to getting your house sold. A good marketing plan takes place on many fronts.

Although the Multiple Listing Service is the main tool used by agents, many house hunters these days are looking online, at sites such as Zillow, Trulia, and Craig’s List, to find potential properties. I will make sure that your property is listed on these and other high profile real estate sites, as well as making use of social media, such as Twitter and Facebook. In addition, I will create an individual home page for your property on my site.

As always, networking plays a big part in any business dealings. In addition to alerting all the realtors in my office that your property is new on the market, I will hold Brokers’ Opens, so that any agent who has clients looking for similar houses has a chance to preview your property.

Your neighbors may also know someone who’s thinking of moving into your area. I will target market your neighborhood, sending out postcards advertising that your house is “just listed” and inviting them to their own private pre-market open house.

To round out our marketing plan, we will not ignore the traditional strategies. I will create flyers to be placed with the For Sale sign on your lawn, and will advertise your property in the real estate section of the local paper. We will also schedule regular open houses for the public.
